Update is coming

Apologies for the lack of updates, my family and uni work have been keeping me busy .

So anyway for my final project I have to do a personal project which can be on anything you want and so my initial idea for it was to do a guide to surviving CA211 and animation, and make it into a sort of comic strip of survival tips. I drew a few suggestions and I couldn't generate any good imagery for them so I scrapped that Idea (well put it in the archive of idea's to do in the future) 

So what should I do for my personal project?

Well a few months back I drew Jon Snow and Robb Stark like this 

So I thought why not do the rest of the family and that's what I set off to do and here is the finished piece

Anyway as it didn't take me long to do these so I thought I would do the other Major houses in Game of Thrones such as House Lannister and House Targaryen. So look forward to seeing them in the future

I think I need to make more update puns for these posts of mine but anyway this week I'll be showcasing Bunny's designs and also an animatic and storyboard that I've been working on.

Like I said in my last post I seriously need to update more often and so that I what I am going to do, so every Thursday expect an update. 

So I showed you some concepts and the story line so I bet your all wanting to know what else I have done for this project ?

Life drawing session!

So every wednesday afternoon I scamper off to do some life drawing with some other students from animation.

 This week we looked at drapery and we also had a ballerina in and she was awesome !!!

 

 

These were some 2minute sketches with the model in different positions using the fabric that she had with her.

 

most of these were done with a brush pen and it was really good practice for how fabric falls in this session and I'm really looking forward to next weeks session when we have a large model come in :)

 

MAJOR PROJECT AHOY !!!!

I seriously need to get my act together when it comes to weekly updates for this blog of mine... but any who, guess who got a 1st in their pre-production?

t'was me !!!

I walked away with 70% in my project which I wasn't expecting because I thought I would get something like 67% or something like that because I felt I did hardly anything good for it (especially the initial design stuff) but woo hoo !! hope I can get another 1st for this project. 

So for this new project I'm designing stuff for a game that I've come up with. It took blasted ages to get an idea of what I wanted to do but it wasn't until I was returning from a shopping trip with a Starbucks in hand, and my trusted companion and friend Jason beside me that the idea of having kabuki masked skater thieves came about and began to take form.

 

Pre - Major Project PART 2

This is part 2 of my Pre-Major project 

For the project I thought of doing 2 characters. Gerty was the first to be designed and I thought that it would be good to have a male character. 

I wanted to stick to the same engineer theme and so I stuck with that. 

 

These were the initial designs for Kaiden and I just messed about with different types of outfits and hairstyles. I did look a lot at mass effect and also designs that have been uploaded on pinterest . 

Pre-Major Project PART 1

Wow didn't realise that I haven't posted anything in nearly three months and I should really start getting my backside in gear when it comes to updating.

So anyhow here is some recent work from my completed character Design Project!!

As you can see the name of the show that I designed for this project is called 'Treasure Seekers'
